In the beautiful city of Bath we have hordes of visitors all year and to keep them entertained we also have many, many buskers. Some are excellent others are not so good but they do serve the useful purpose of keeping our visitors animated. Or not. 16 June 2014

Had a very good walk this morning and topped it off with a pint at the end. We decided to round the day off by using the Welsh Highland Railway to get back to the cottage. It was great fun and there were all sorts of photo opportunities of polished brass, steam, oily gauges etc.…
This was the view from the cottage I stayed in this weekend. The mountain is one of several in North Wales called Y Garn and it stands above the village of Rhyd-Ddu in the south west of Snowdonia. 13 July 2014

The unmown pastures on the hills around Bath are looking stunning at this time of year. Many different grass and wild flower species on show. This one is above Weston village by Kelston Round Hill. 10 June 2014
