Royal Victoria Park, Bath.

This morning first thing I took Maude for a walk and realised that there is still so much colour about apart from the expected autumn tones. We passed one garden that was completely full of dahlias in so many different colours.

Later on we walked into town with Mrs Sixwheeler through Royal Victoria Park and we were amazed by the formal flower beds; while some are being replanted for next year others, like the one in the photo, are still full of this year’s colour. For late October I think this is remarkable.
