Today we happened to be in Marshfield and it turned out to be a very pretty village indeed. Apart from several pubs and village shops there is a shop that used to be a haberdashery but is now selling pet food, papers and all manner of things from the original shelves and drawers. It looked as though it had come straight out of ‘Larkrise’. It also has a splendid selection of traditional sweets!

Very tempting but I resisted!
