As you head north west along the A82 just west of Bridge of Orchy the road swings round on itself and just before Rannoch Moor dramatically opens out you will see the Rannoch Boulder. It’s on the left as you go up the last bit of hill. It’s a big chunk of rock that has a tree growing out of it. It’s been there as long as I can remember but that road is always so busy it’s difficult to stop. Today the road was nice and quiet.
