For years I told my daughters to eat it as it was ‘good for them’ to the point that I completely fell out of love with it.
Last week in Scotland I tried it again so that no one needed to cook something separate just for me and it wasn’t at all bad.
Tonight I’m having it for my supper, by choice. What is it? This!

Oh come on, it’s good but not that good!
Technically this is Calabrese but it has a similar taste and identical effect on the human body – full of antioxidants (unless boiled to death in the style of our parents), great for the circulation and only mildly wind promoting. Great in salads, Chinese and Thai stir fries and curries. I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I do.
