Avoncliff Aqueduct.
Today we took Maude in the car with us to Freshford and went for a walk along the River Avon. This was a delightful walk through grassy fields and a riverside track. Eventually we arrived at Avoncliff where the Kennet and Avon Canal crosses the river on a viaduct and the narrow boat in the picture obligingly came past.
We then walked back to The Inn at Freshford for a pint only to find that they close in the afternoon! Serious lack of planning there.

I am very much looking forward to doing some walking along an English canal one day :) So many nice ones to choose from!
Nice and flat too!
Yes, that is the bonus with walking canals – you know there will be no hills YAY
Looks lovely. 99 days to go!
Can’t wait!!! Have a simpler, i.e. less demanding, idea for next year! You know the problem.
still trying to figure out my next blogging move….I definitely miss writing, but not every day. :-)
YES!!! Specially when you need a photo to go with it every day. Hope you get your mojo going soon. Your devoted public awaits . . . . .
