Late Garden Colour.
Sometimes when I go out with a camera I randomly look for pictures and on other days I have a theme in mind and look for images to meet that theme. Today I was looking for late colour; no autumn leaves, no berries, just late flowers with good colour. I was surprised how many I found and this is the best of them.
Walking about looking around I couldn’t help noticing the huge amounts of berries there are this year. It’s probably all to do with a mild, damp winter followed by a mild dry spring and hot summer; but when I was a boy growing up in the country we were always told that a heavy crop of berries in the autumn was a sure sign of a hard winter to come with nature providing food for the birds. In which case we’re in for it this winter, we shall see.
