Every morning one of the first things I do is check the local weather forecast for the day to come. Today, as for most days this year, it offered heavy rain all day. By the time we had finished breakfast it had stopped but as soon as we stepped outside to go to the market it started again but stopped in time for us to come back. Then the sun came out. As the sun was out I took the dog for a walk, so it rained. And that was the way the day went.

In between the rain the sun came out and shone strongly and for the first time this year I could feel the beginnings of some heat in it. When the sun was out it was lovely. Like this.
