365 Project – Day 64

It is The Independent Bath Literary Festival time, mind you there’s always some festival or other going on in Bath. Last night I went to see the legendary Count Arthur Strong which is always a treat and tonight Mrs Sixwheeler and I are going to see the cookery writer Claudia Roden who has long been a favourite of ours, so once again I am taking the opportunity to post early.

Maude and I were out bright and early (not a phrase you will often hear from me) and the sun was shining. Longer daylight hours and the odd warm and dry day means that at last the hedgerow bottoms are beginning to get a bit busy which always means that Spring isn’t too far away. Thank goodness.

  1. We like this, we like this very much! Have a very nice evening with Claudia Roden. We hope to see some tasty/travel reporting via your blog afterwards. And yes, spring is fast approaching – please, if anybody is listening out there and can do something about it – can it be even a little faster?..

    • Claudia Rosen was excellent, in conversation with Matthew Fort. Interesting and amusing. Then we went to The Raven for s pint and a PIE! National Pie Week.

      • Long live the PIE! Honestly, until you mentioned it, we had no idea… And now seeing all sorts of little snippets in the news about the British Pie Week.
