Fallow Deer.
We had a mass invasion of granddaughters today which is always fun, to try and tire them out a bit we went to Dyrham Park so that they could run about in some lovely fresh air.
We were lucky enough to be able to get fairly close to some of the resident herd of Fallow Deer. I think that this is a doe with her faun, there were several such pairings and a rather superior looking buck a bit further away. Just up the hill from these, but well away, was a bachelor group of about half a dozen young bucks, no doubt thinking about the rut.
