We’re back in Cornwall staying in a cottage in Newlyn this year. An easy and uneventful drive down from Bath and a pub lunch saw the weather turn from glorious sunshine to dull and windy.
We took a quick drive to Lamorna Cove which is a favourite place of ours so that Maude could have a run. She thoroughly enjoyed it but the wind always makes her skittish.
Back in Newlyn we got all our stuff into the cottage which is super and reminds Mrs Sixwheeler of her mother’s cottage on the Isles of Scilly; cosy and charming, overlooking the harbour and with two pubs within a minute’s walk. Mrs S and Maude soon made themselves at home.
