365 Project – Day 318

Pulteney Weir.

This is the horseshoe weir in the River Avon in Bath. Normally a gentle waterfall goes over its steps but we’ve had a bit of rain in the West Country over the last few days so it’s got a bit of a spate on. Last winter during the floods you couldn’t actually see that there was a weir there at all, the river swept down all at one level. Some forecasters are talking of another really wet winter to come.
