It will be one year next Wednesday since we first saw the house that we have been lucky enough to buy in Bath. We moved here nine months ago and our move has been a huge success.

One of the things I love about Bath is that if you walk around with your eyes open you will sometimes see ‘ghost images’ of old advertising on the buildings. Like this

and now I find that I’m always on the lookout for them.

Soon the weather will be cold and damp for the winter months but our autumn has given some spectacular colours. This was Weston Park earlier this week

We were thinking of going to Westonbirt Arboretum but we’ve probably left it too late. Anyway we need to leave something for next year.
