Regular readers will be aware that Maude and I like a walk in Royal Victoria Park in Bath. This park is a large, beautiful open space right in the middle of Bath and is a real benefit to residents and visitors.
There was a problem that people were using the park to leave their cars all day when they were at work. Last year the council introduced parking charges to prevent this so now we have this
which is a shame. I realise that it is desirable to free up some parking for people who want to use the park but currently one pound an hour for a maximum of four hours is killing the place. There has to be a better answer. Surely.
