This morning I asked the newsagent what the weather would be like today, “Changeable” he replied. It got rained on for the first time walking back to the cottage, I then got soaked in Porthleven before getting a shower in Zennor and rained on in Penzance; this is what holidays in Cornwall are like in November; in between it was often very nice.
My camera stayed under my jacket in Porthleven but on the way to Zennor we discovered the tiny but pretty church at Towednack, a church that has been there since the thirteenth century.
As we had enjoyed a dry visit to the church we decided to reward ourselves with lunch at the Tinners Arms at Zennor, an old haunt from when I used to visit Cornwall for climbing and walking, and it’s still a lovely old fashioned pub.
When we left it rained!
